Saudi Arabia plans to host the World Cup with the participation of another Arab country

The British newspaper, The Times, revealed that Saudi Arabia is conducting extensive and high-level talks with the governments of Greece and Egypt with the aim of submitting a joint file to host the 2030 World Cup, and that the announcement of this is imminent, according to the newspaper’s sources.
The Times indicated that Saudi Arabia, which has embarked since 2017, a huge program to bring sporting events to the Gulf region, will be the main partner and will contribute to the infrastructure costs of Egypt and Greece if their joint bid wins the right to host the 2030 World Cup.
It is expected that the joint file of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece, according to the newspaper, will compete with two other files, namely, a joint file for Portugal and Spain, and a four-profile file for Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay and Chile.
It is also likely that Morocco will submit a single bid to host the 2030 World Cup.
