Saudi Aramco enters Iraq with a huge investment

Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani said that the Saudi Aramco Oil Company intends to invest in one of the largest gas fields in the country to achieve production of more than 400 million square feet of gas.

On the sidelines of the meetings of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council held in Riyadh, “Aramco” will invest and develop in the “Akkas” field located in the Iraqi province of Anbar, and research is also underway, according to what the minister indicated, “There is also a preliminary agreement with Saudi Arabia to invest in the Nibras complex project.” Which he described as one of the most promising strategic projects in the petrochemical industry in Iraq and the region.
