Saudi Jordanian meeting in Riyadh

The Jordanian government indicated that Saudi-Jordanian meetings will be held in the capital, Riyadh, tomorrow, Monday, with the aim of strengthening and developing cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, and the Jordanian Minister of Labor, Youssef Al-Shamali, said, “The joint Jordanian-Saudi committee will start its work in Riyadh, tomorrow, Monday.”

According to him, the meetings are scheduled to take place on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The minister added that the committee will discuss a number of issues and areas of common interest between the two countries.

He also explained that ways to enhance cooperation in the economic, trade, investment and customs fields, cooperation in the security and consular fields, transportation, energy, mineral wealth, agriculture, medicine, standards and standards will be discussed.

Al-Shamali indicated that the committee will also discuss strengthening and developing cooperation in other fields such as communications, digital economy, entrepreneurship, education, higher education, social development, youth, industrial cities, free zones, companies, the central bank, public works, documentation, the private sector, local administration, water and irrigation.

He also expressed his hope that the meetings would contribute to strengthening and developing trade relations between Riyadh and Oman
