Saudi meeting with the US National Security Adviser

Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman arrived in the United States of America on an official visit, during which he will meet with a number of American officials to discuss bilateral relations.
And the White House said in a statement yesterday, Tuesday, that US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman.
The statement pointed out that “the two sides emphasized the long-term partnership between the two countries.”

The statement added that Sullivan “reaffirmed US President Joe Biden’s commitment to helping the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia defend its territory, and expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s leadership in securing a UN-brokered truce in Yemen.”
The statement indicated that the two sides also discussed the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure global economic resilience.
In this context, the Saudi Press Agency reported that Prince Khalid bin Salman and his accompanying delegation arrived in the United States of America on an official visit, during which they will meet with a number of American officials to discuss bilateral relations and discuss issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.
She added that bin Salman and Sullivan discussed Saudi-US relations, prospects for cooperation and joint coordination, and ways to support and enhance them within the framework of the common vision between the two countries.
