Scenarios of northern Syria and the possible Turkish invasion

For days, northern Syria has witnessed military mobilizations and fierce battles between armed factions opposed to Damascus and backed by Ankara, in light of talk of a possible Turkish invasion of Kurdish-controlled areas in northern Syria.
After Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced his intention to start a new military operation, and Washington, Moscow and Damascus responded with refusal, the operation was postponed to create a settlement that may not happen.
The United States wants to establish an independent Kurdish state in northern Syria, which puts both Damascus and Ankara in a crisis, while Moscow finds no objection to granting the Kurds an autonomy under the rule of Damascus, which Damascus has not accepted so far.
Political experts expect that the Damascus and Ankara governments will find meeting points to prevent the establishment of a Kurdish state, which will make the return of relations possible.
