A Western newspaper reported that the meeting between them ended with a skirmish over the issue of OTP Bank and preventing aid to Ukraine.

The American newspaper also revealed, quoting diplomats, that German Foreign Minister Birbock criticized her Hungarian counterpart for refusing to agree to provide additional military aid to Ukraine through the European Union.

Whereas, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, revealed that the volume of military support provided by the European Union to Ukraine has so far reached about 10 billion euros.

“The European Union has so far mobilized 10 billion euros of military support for Ukraine,” Borrell said, in press statements ahead of the meeting of the European Union’s foreign ministers within the framework of the Foreign Affairs Council.
