Shocking confrontations and an Italian derby within the Champions League quarter-final draw, the dates of the confrontations

Today, at UEFA headquarters, the draw for the quarter-finals of the 2022/2023 Champions League competition was held in the presence of the qualified clubs and a number of players and guests. The draw was carried out by Turkish football star Hamid Altintop and former Dutch football star Patrick Kluivert.
The draw carried a heavy-caliber confrontation that will bring together the two most prominent candidates for the title, Bayern Munich and Manchester City, while Milan’s confrontation with Napoli in a heavy-caliber Italian derby was one of the surprises of the draw.
The draw also placed the Spanish club Real Madrid, the champion of the previous version, with the English club Chelsea, who is struggling this season locally, and Inter Milan will face Portuguese club Benfica.
The quarter-final matches are scheduled to be played on the 11th and 12th of next April, with the return matches to be on the 18th and 19th of April.
Also, according to the draw, the winner of the Milan-Napoli confrontations will play with the candidate from the Inter Milan-Benfica confrontations, while the team that qualified from Bayern and City will face the qualifier from the Chelsea and Real Madrid confrontations.
The semi-final matches will be played on the ninth and tenth of May, and the second legs on the 16th and 17th of it, to decide the two sides of the qualification, which will be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on the tenth of June 2023.
