Syria International Book Fair: 500 Publishers from 35 Countries
Vehicles belonging to the Saudi delegation participating in the Syria International Book Fair were reported stolen coinciding with the opening of the event, according to circulating reports.
Authorities have not yet released official details regarding the circumstances of the theft or any measures taken against those responsible, while the fair’s activities continued as scheduled.
The incident affected the cultural event’s atmosphere, as well as organizers and security personnel, but did not prevent attendance by Arab and international participants, with wide participation from various countries.

The Syria International Book Fair is one of the largest cultural events in the Arab world this year. The current edition is held from February 6 to 16 under the patronage of the Syrian Ministry of Culture and the Presidency. The fair features participation from more than 500 publishers from 35 countries, offering over 100,000 titles across various fields of knowledge.
