Syrian health guides its people on how to deal with cholera

The Syrian Ministry of Health has published guidelines for citizens to comply with in case of cholera disease.
One of these guidelines is how to make a solution to treat and stop diarrhoea until reaching the hospital. This solution depends on adding half a tablespoon of salt with 6 teaspoons of sugar to a liter of water for the patient to drink.
The guidelines come at a time when cholera is widespread in the country and where medicines are scarce in addition to their higher prices, if any.
