Talented soccer player dies

A tragic traffic accident claimed the life of Dutch football club Ajax Amsterdam player, Noah Geiser, after his car collided with another, last Friday, in a city in the Dutch province of Utrecht.
A club spokesman stated that the talented player, Noah Geiser, aged 16, had a serious traffic accident last Friday evening, accompanied by his brother, who also passed away, following the tragic accident.
Ajax said on Twitter: “Ajax was deeply affected by the death of the young player Noah Geyser. Our condolences to his family, friends and relatives.”
The club also announced that the “horrific news” will be announced between the first team and the youth team in training.
The Dutch champions, Ajax, stated that Geiser was traveling with his 18-year-old brother, when their car collided with a taxi on the United Nations Road in the city of Ijsselstein.
Only the taxi driver in the opposite car survived the tragic accident, who was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Ajax indicated that the matches will start with a minute of silence, and the players will wear black armbands and the flags will be raised half-mast, adding: “Ajax was deeply affected by this tragic event. The club wishes Jaiser’s loved ones all the strength to deal with this heavy loss.”
Noah Geyser was seen as a great talent in Ajax, and he was recently promoted to the 17-year-old team, and last season, the late scored 13 goals, in only 6 games for the Ajax under-16 team.
