Tehran responds to the Arab League statement

Today, Monday, Tehran indicated that “Iran’s relationship with neighboring countries, the region and Asia does not contradict the balanced relations with the rest of the world, except for Israel.”
This was stated by the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, who said: “Our emphasis on relations with neighboring countries, the region and Asia does not contradict the balanced relations with the rest of the world except for Israel,” noting that “relations with all European countries were It is still part of our foreign policy, and we will not stop at some special countries only.”
Khatibzadeh considered that “the statement of the Quartet Committee of the League of Arab States is a repeated statement that contradicts the reality of the region,” stressing that “Iran will not compromise over its territorial integrity and the three islands will remain Iranian.”
He continued, “We call on these countries to focus on Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people.”
The Arab Ministerial Quartet Committee on the crisis with Iran had held a meeting chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, in which they discussed the developments of the crisis file with Iran and what was described as “confronting Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.”
This committee, which includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt, prepared a draft resolution that it submitted to the 156th session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level for approval.
