The Court of Appeal condemns Muhammad Ramadan

The Economic Court of Appeal revealed the ruling fining the Egyptian star, Mohamed Ramadan, 300,000 pounds, in the insult and slander lawsuit filed against him by his fellow journalist, Amr Adeeb.

This ruling is one of four petitions submitted by lawyer Tariq Jamil Saeed, in his capacity as attorney for the media, Amr Adeeb, against the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, to the criminal trial before the Economic Court, in the accusations brought against him of insulting, defamation, defamation, misuse of social media and publishing content without a license.

Where the referral order added, the accused, Muhammad Ramadan, deliberately disturbed the aforementioned victim by misusing communications equipment, by committing the actions indicated in the accusation contained in the investigations.

And the Public Prosecution had charged Muhammad Ramadan with that on April 22, 2022, in the Department of the Second Division of Sheikh Zayed, he deliberately used information technology to process the personal video clips of the victim, Amr Adeeb, broadcast on his television program “The Story”, and that he cut Audio clips from it, and he added them to video clips in which the accused appears, publishing them through his personal account on the social networking site “Facebook”, which is available to the public to view, intending to show it in a way that would prejudice it as shown in the investigations.
