The date of Eid al-Fitr in a number of Arab countries

There is no doubt that the whole world is waiting for the announcement of the confirmation of the date of Eid al-Fitr after the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.
Although the date can only be confirmed by confirming the sighting of the crescent moon, astronomical calculations also have a say.

In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the date of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, and confirmed that Monday, corresponding to the 29th of Ramadan and the 8th of April, is the last day of the month of Ramadan, with the Eid holiday starting from Tuesday, the 9th of April.
In Egypt, the Eid al-Fitr holiday begins on Wednesday, April 10, and continues until Friday.
According to the astronomical calendar in the UAE, and according to the agenda of official holidays approved by the UAE Cabinet, the Eid al-Fitr holiday in the UAE begins on Monday, the 29th of Ramadan, and continues until Sunday, the 3rd of Shawwal.
As for Qatar, according to what was stated on the official website of the Ministry of Justice in the State of Qatar, the date of the Eid al-Fitr holiday in Qatar begins on Monday, April 8, corresponding to the 29th of Ramadan, and continues until Monday, the 15th of the same month.
In the Sultanate of Oman, according to local law, on Tuesday, the 29th of Ramadan, and continues until the end of Saturday, Shawwal 3.
In Jordan, the Prime Minister announced that the Eid al-Fitr holiday begins on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 and continues until Friday, the 12th of the same month.
In Morocco, the Eid al-Fitr holiday begins on Monday, Ramadan 29, corresponding to April 9 of this month, according to what was stated on the state’s official page, and the holiday continues until next Friday.
While the State of Kuwait has not yet officially announced the date of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, some local websites have confirmed that the holiday will begin on Tuesday, Ramadan 29, corresponding to April 9, and will continue until Saturday, corresponding to April 13.
The official website of the State of Bahrain confirmed that the date of Eid al-Fitr holiday in the public and private sectors begins on Wednesday, April 10, and continues until Friday, April 12.
In turn, the Algerian Council of Ministers announced on its official website that Eid al-Fitr vacation begins on Wednesday, April 10, and continues until Friday of the same month, stressing that Eid al-Fitr vacation is 3 days with pay.
The Tunisian government has not yet announced the date of Eid al-Fitr vacation. According to astronomical calculations, it will begin on Wednesday, April 10, and continue for 3 days, with Saturday being the first working day for employees.
Likewise, the State of Iraq has not yet announced the date of the Eid al-Fitr holiday in 2024, which is expected, according to astronomical calculations, to begin on Wednesday, April 10, and continue for 3 days until the end of the week.
It is noteworthy that the Eid al-Fitr holiday in all Arab and Islamic countries will not be less than 3 days as an official holiday from work, and up to 6 days in some other countries.
