The death toll from two earthquakes in southern Iran

Two people were killed and 15 others injured in two earthquakes that struck southern Iran on Sunday.
The Iranian Emergency Organization said that “two people were killed, one of whom was caused by falling electric wires, and 15 people were injured in two earthquakes that struck southern Iran, as well as power outages in some areas.”
The two earthquakes were centered in the city of “Bandar Abbas” in the province of “Hormozgan” in southern Iran, with a difference of one minute, with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale, at a depth of 18 km, and the second with a magnitude of 6.3 at a depth of 10 km.
Iranian television, quoting the governor of Hormozgan, Mahdi Dosti, said that he went to the neighborhoods affected by the earthquake and did not suffer serious damage.
