The Egyptian Artists Guild defends Mona Zaki

The Egyptian Artists Guild has defended its member Mona Zaki, who has received scathing criticism for her acting. Some have seen her as an audacious scene in the joint Egyptian – Lebanese film “Mates and No Dear” on Netflix.
The syndicate, headed by Captain Ashraf Zaki, issued a statement emphasizing the fundamental parameters of preserving freedom of creation in a civil State that believes in freedom as an essential part of the conscience of Egyptian artists protected and defended by the syndicate.
The union threatened to hold those involved accountable for verbal assault or attempt to intimidate the representative Mona Zaki, or any Egyptian representative or attempt to undermine him.
