The Emirati President reveals the investment of tens of billions of dollars in this field

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, announced the establishment of a fund worth $30 billion to support climate solutions worldwide with the aim of combating climate change, and to support the necessary financing for this in order to stimulate the collection of $250 billion by the year 2023.
Bin Zayed opened the proceedings of the 28th World Climate Summit, which is being held in Expo City Dubai under the title “COP28” and continues until December 12 of this year.
The Emirati President revealed in his opening speech that his country has invested $100 billion in financing climate action and renewable and clean energy, and is committed to investing an additional $130 billion over the next seven years.
