The German Special Envoy to Syria, Stefan Schneck, expressed his profound shock over the events on the Syrian coast. Schneck commented on these events in a post on the “X” platform as follows:

“I am deeply shocked by the numerous casualties in the western regions of Syria and I urge everyone to seek peaceful solutions, national unity, inclusive political dialogue, and transitional justice. We must break the cycle of violence and hatred. Germany is ready to assist wherever we can.”
