The Governor of the Banque du Liban was prevented from traveling and his passports were confiscated

The Lebanese Attorney General issued a new decision regarding the case of the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh.
According to the decision, the Governor of the Banque du Liban was banned from traveling, his Lebanese and French passports were confiscated, and he was left under investigation.
These developments come days after the issuance of an international arrest warrant against Salameh, against the background of a lawsuit filed against him in France regarding corruption operations in Lebanon.
