The Iranian embassy in Riyadh officially begins its work

The Iranian embassy in Riyadh officially began its work today, Tuesday, marking the return of normal relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
The Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs said, during the reopening ceremony of the Iranian embassy in Riyadh, that today is an important day in the history of relations between the two countries.
“We express our satisfaction with our presence in the brotherly and friendly country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he added.
He stressed that bilateral cooperation will return to its climax by raising the Iranian flag in Saudi Arabia and the Saudi flag in Iran, and said in the context: “We will witness a new page in bilateral and regional relations towards more cooperation and rapprochement.”
