The Israeli army announces the liberation of two Hamas prisoners in a special operation in Rafah

The Israeli army announced that its forces succeeded earlier Monday morning in recovering two Israeli prisoners held by Hamas through a joint operation by the General Security Service (Shin Bet) and the police, according to statements made by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant.
The two captives are Fernando Simon Marman (60 years old) and Luis Harr (70 years old). Gallant said that they are in good health and were taken to the hospital for medical examinations.
The Israeli army spokesman said that the Israeli forces carried out what he described as a complex operation inside a building in which the two prisoners were placed with a guard from Hamas fighters, where violent clashes took place during the operation, coinciding with Israeli raids to cover and enable the forces to move to the site.
While there has not yet been any comment from Hamas on the matter, the Israeli raids that targeted random and separate areas of the city of Rafah, including populated homes, claimed the lives of more than 100 Palestinians, including women and children, in addition to more than 230 injured.
Hamas had announced the death of two of its Israeli prisoners as a result of the bombing operations that took place during the past days, in addition to the serious injury of 8 people, with the inability to provide them with appropriate treatment, as it held the Israeli army fully responsible for their lives.
