The Presidency of the Security Council condemns the Saudi attack on Yemen

The Norwegian Presidency of the UN Security Council condemned the recent air raids of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia on Yemen, which, according to the latest data, left more than 200 dead and wounded.
The Norwegian delegate to the United Nations, Mona Gul (who assumes the presidency of the UN Security Council in January), described to reporters today, Friday, before the start of an emergency closed meeting of the Council on the recent Houthi attack on the UAE, the recent raids of the coalition as “unacceptable.”
“We are deeply concerned … and call for de-escalation and restraint,” she said.
