The release of the preliminary results of the Iraqi elections

The Sadrist bloc led by Iraqi politician Muqtada al-Sadr won the most seats in the Iraqi parliament, according to the preliminary results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections.
The High Electoral Commission in Iraq announced the preliminary results in which the Sadrist bloc won 73 seats in the first place, followed by the “Progress” bloc led by Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, with 38 seats.
The State of Law bloc, led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, came third with 37 seats in parliament.
Today, Monday, the Electoral Commission announced the preliminary results of the elections in 83 constituencies in 18 governorates, with a participation rate of 41%.
