The Saudi-Iranian agreement will have a positive effect

The United Arab Emirates has shown that the agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia is the best chance for stabilizing the situation in Yemen.
The Permanent Representative of the UAE to the United Nations, Lana Nusseibeh, expressed her hope that “a road map will be obtained that will help the full implementation of peace in Yemen,” stressing that “the Saudi-Iranian agreement is the best opportunity for stabilizing the situation in Yemen.”
Whereas, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that the new agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia may be a reason for resolving the Yemeni crisis.
A spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, said that the issue of Yemen is a serious priority for Tehran, and the new positive atmosphere between Iran and Saudi Arabia may be a reason for resolving the issue of Yemen and related to this file.
And earlier, the Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, confirmed that “the agreement with Iran does not mean resolving all differences,” expressing his hope to “open a new page with Iran and enhance prospects for cooperation, coordination and dialogue.”
Ibn Farhan said, “He is looking forward to meeting Iran’s foreign minister soon based on what has been agreed upon,” noting that “the most important requirement for opening a new page with Iran is its commitment to what has been agreed upon.”
Last week, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to resume cooperation in the fields of security, trade and investment,” according to what they said in a joint statement with their mediator, China.
The statement said: “The three countries announce that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran have reached an agreement that includes agreeing to resume diplomatic relations between them and reopen their embassies and representations within a maximum period of two months.”
