The Sun of the Song Faces Embarrassing Moments During Her Concert in the Netherlands
Lebanese star Najwa Karam faced some embarrassing moments during her concert in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, but her spontaneity and grace helped her handle them smoothly.
Social media platforms circulated videos of Najwa Karam, one of which showed her dancing with the audience before she stumbled and fell. However, she quickly got back on her feet with the help of those around her and continued dancing and interacting as if nothing had happened.
In another incident, a fan threw the new Syrian Republic flag and asked her to raise it while she was singing. The young man then accused her in a hostile manner, calling her a “Shabihah” (a term used for government loyalists). In response, she raised the Syrian flag alongside the Lebanese flag and addressed the audience, saying: “Syria and Lebanon are not just neighboring countries; they are one heart.” She urged people to separate art from politics, emphasizing that politics belongs to politicians, while art belongs to artists. She further explained that artists have a significant mission—to unite people through the love of music and art, where no differences matter as long as love brings everyone together.
