The Trump administration informs Congress about the F-35 fighter deal with the UAE

After the rapid political developments in the UAE, and after the normalization agreement with Israel, and the latter’s announcement of its agreement to sell America “F-35 fighters” to the Emirates, the administration of US President Donald Trump informed the US Congress about the details of the deal.
According to press statements, the White House informed Congress of its intention to sell 50 F-35 fighters manufactured by Lockheed Martin to the UAE.
In a previous statement, US Assistant Secretary of State David Schenker announced that Washington will continue to supply the UAE with these fighters while preserving Israel’s military superiority.
Note that America agreed to allow the UAE to buy fighters through a side deal to an agreement to normalize relations between the UAE and Israel.
