The Turkish lira is falling against the dollar

Today, the Turkish lira witnessed a clear decline against the US dollar by 1.3%, its lowest level in more than a month.
The lira’s decline over the past two days is due to more than 2.5% due to expectations that the US monetary stimulus will be reduced sooner than expected.
Most economists expect Turkey’s central bank to keep interest rates at 19% next week after inflation rose to 19.25% in August, the highest in more than two years.
