The Turkish lira is falling sharply against the dollar

The Turkish lira fell to a record low of 9.1 against the dollar on Wednesday, October 13.
In this way, the Turkish lira expanded its losses, after an unexpected interest rate cut sparked a new wave of sales, with the US currency rising against other currencies.
With these results, the Turkish currency lost about 18% of its value against the dollar this year, which exacerbated an increase in inflation to about 20%.
