The West extends its sanctions on Iran

The British Foreign Office announced the extension of sanctions imposed on Iran, which were scheduled to expire next month.
The British Foreign Office said: “We will maintain, along with Germany and France, sanctions on Iran that were scheduled to expire next month.”
She added: “We are committed to a diplomatic solution, but maintaining sanctions on Iran is a response to its efforts to develop its nuclear program.”
