Trump Responds: Will Israeli Strikes Continue? G7 Statement and Russia-North Korea’s Role

U.S. President Donald Trump, in an interview with CBS, stated that he has not called for a ceasefire between Iran and Israel but seeks a “real end to the war” through Iran abandoning its nuclear program.

Trump indicated that Israel will not ease its attacks on Iran at this stage, explaining that his call for the evacuation of Tehran aimed to ensure the safety of civilians amid rising military tensions. He also expressed hope to end Iran’s nuclear program without direct U.S. intervention.

Trump added that he may send his special envoy Steve Witkoff or his deputy J.D. Vance to Tehran, noting that the decision will be made after his return to the White House. He mentioned that he has not yet reviewed the G7 statement but allowed them to express some matters. He also denied any signs of Russian or North Korean support for Iran in this context.
