The American television network “Fox News” published an opinion poll among the ranks of the Republican Party, which showed the lead of former US President Donald Trump over his rival, California Governor “Ron Distants”, to win the Republican nomination paper for the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.
According to the poll, which was conducted during the period from March 24 to 27 and included more than a thousand people, Trump won the support of 54% of Republicans, far ahead of his rival, “Ron Distants”, who won 24%.
In a speech to his supporters yesterday, Trump described the upcoming presidential elections as an “existential battle for the future of the country,” and that if the Democrats win it, “we will no longer have a country,” as he put it.
