Turkey denies the charges

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced, in a telephone conversation with his Polish counterpart, Zbigniew Rau, that Turkey rejects the accusations against it of involvement in the transfer of migrants to Belarus.
A source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry told Sputnik: “A telephone conversation took place between the Turkish and Polish foreign ministers, during which they discussed the situation of illegal immigration on the Polish-Belarusian border.”
The Turkish minister conveyed to his Polish counterpart his annoyance over attempts to make Turkey a party to the problem.
The Turkish minister also denied the baseless accusations against Turkey and Turkish Airlines in this regard.
The Polish-Belarus border has witnessed tension after thousands of illegal immigrants have headed towards it, since Monday, to try to cross it towards Poland, with which the Polish border guards strengthened their position by deploying thousands of additional soldiers, to prevent these migrants from crossing its borders.
