The Turkish Foreign Ministry revealed its rejection of the position of Russia and the United States of America regarding its military operation, which it intends to launch in northern Syria.
This came during the statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, during an exclusive interview with the official Turkish channel, during which he said that “the United States of America and Russia have no right to say anything to Turkey about the upcoming military operation.”
Davutoglu also indicated that these countries must abide by their pledges to expel terrorists from Syria, stressing at the same time that “his country does not hesitate to eliminate any threat that comes from the Syrian side.”
Whereas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had announced earlier that “Turkey will conduct a military operation in northern Syria that the international community understands, and we have sufficient experience for that.”
Erdogan responded to a question about how the international community will accept the planned military operation of the Turkish Armed Forces in northern Syria, during a press conference in Madrid: “We will not carry out an operation that the international community does not understand. We will conduct an operation in a language that the international community understands, Turkey has extensive experience in this matter, do not worry. “.
