US military admits killing civilians in Kabul

The US Central Command acknowledged that Afghan civilians were mistakenly killed in a US air strike on August 29 last year, targeting members of ISIS.
The commander of the US Central Command, Kenneth McKenzie, said that “investigations indicate that the August 29 raid in Kabul was a mistake, and led to the deaths of 10 civilians, including 7 children.”
McKenzie apologized for the “error of the raid”, and stressed that he bears full responsibility for it.
