Warnings Issued to Palestinians After Israeli Spy Devices Discovered in Various Areas of Gaza
On Thursday, the Palestinian platform Al-Hares reported, citing a statement from the Palestinian Media Center, that authorities had successfully uncovered Israeli espionage devices in the Gaza Strip.
The statement confirmed the discovery of various types of camouflaged spy devices in areas where the seven batches of Israeli prisoners were handed over as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
A security official explained that, based on technical and operational analysis, experts estimated that the seized espionage devices were planted using small drones similar to quadcopters.
The platform urged Palestinians in Gaza to remain vigilant and follow necessary security measures, such as regularly inspecting rooftops, buildings, and tents, avoiding discussions of military and security matters in unsecured areas, and immediately reporting any suspicious objects to security authorities.
Additionally, it was noted that a quadcopter drone was seen flying over the minaret of Al-Qassam Mosque in Al-Nuseirat Camp during the evening prayer, allegedly for intelligence-gathering purposes.
