Washington ignores a serious request by Ukrainian President Zelensky

The American newspaper “POLITICO” revealed information that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky called for supplying his army with long-range tactical missiles “ATACMS”, which has a range of up to 300 km.

According to the newspaper, the American side “did not listen” to that call because such equipment is considered “extremely dangerous” in light of the confrontation with Russia, but it is still on the main wish list of the Ukrainian leadership.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky visited America last December and met with President Joe Biden and the leadership of the US Congress. A new package of aid worth $1.85 billion was allocated to Ukraine, in addition to only one battery of the Patriot missile system.
