Trump, after Vance’s criticism of the Knesset vote: “We will not allow the annexation of the West Bank

Israeli coalition chairman Ofir Katz announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed coalition members not to submit new proposals regarding the application of Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank until further notice, following a vote in favor of a bill to impose sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

This decision comes after remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, who stated in an interview with Time magazine that he would not allow Israel to annex Judea and Samaria.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance also expressed surprise at the vote, describing it as a “strange and foolish political maneuver” that caused his discontent.
