What about the dams and rivers of the consequences of the earthquake?

The Turkish Minister of Agriculture, Wahid Kirishti, revealed today, Sunday, that all dams and power stations in the country are in good condition, and teams are checking and checking them daily after the earthquakes that hit the country over the past days.

And he added in a press briefing broadcast live on television: “All power stations are in good condition and there are no leaks, whether in dams or hydraulic stations.”

He continued, “We have taken all necessary measures and precautions regarding all dams,” quoting the Arab World News Agency.

He also pointed out that there are some cracks, but they always occur in dams and are not the result of an earthquake.

Southern Turkey was hit by an earthquake at dawn last Monday with a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale, which led to thousands of casualties and massive damage in southern Turkey and northern Syria.

The Turkish minister indicated that there is no danger of the Orontes River flooding in Syria.
