The WhatsApp messaging app is set to stop working on a handful of older smartphones within two months, leaving millions of people unable to see their messages.
And starting next November, devices with older versions operating on the Android and AOS operating systems, which are phones running version “4.0.4” of “Android” and earlier, will no longer be compatible with the requirements of “WhatsApp”, which also applies to devices working iOS 9 and earlier.
The list also includes: Samsung with “Galaxy S3 mini”, “Trend II”, “Trend lite”, “core” and “Ace2” versions.
In addition to I phone of “SA”, “S6” and “S6 p plus” models, it is also able to run the application.
As for the “LG” phones, the list includes the optimus F7, F3, L3 dual, F7II and F3 II models.
WhatsApp will not work on the Sony Xperia, as well as the Huawei Ascend Mate and Ascend D2.
