White House denies talks with Russia over Syria

The White House denied that there were talks with Russia over Turkey’s operation in Syria.
The White House said in today’s remarks that Turkey suffers from a terrorist threat and is entitled to defend itself, but that our position on cross-border operations is consistent.
Turkey launched an aerial military operation in northern Syria and Iraq against the anti-Ankara Kurdistan Workers’ Party.
