The Egyptian performing artist Dina attacked her colleague, the Syrian star, Sulaf Fawakherji, because of the latter’s statements about her own liberation ideas and beliefs, the most prominent of which was her lack of conviction in the existence of reward and punishment in the afterlife.
Dina criticized Sulaf Fawakherji, saying that she does not know the religion that the Syrian actress embraces in order to reach that conviction, but she believes that these opinions are “something that has no origin, and is not true at all.”
Dina also confirmed that she believes in the existence of reward and punishment, and she also feels that God Almighty will pardon her and enter her into heaven, referring to her love for her Lord and that God Almighty is the Forgiving, Most Merciful and looks at the hearts of the servants and not at their pictures, as she wished that “despite her mistakes that God will pardon her, and enter her.” Glory be to God Almighty, in His mercy.”
The Syrian artist, Solaf Fawakherji, had sparked a state of controversy on social media, because of her statements on a TV program in the month of Ramadan, where the Lebanese presenter Rabaa al-Zayyat asked her about the existence of heaven and hell. Even in this world, and heaven is a beautiful state, but no one went there and told us.”
The Syrian actress Fawakherji also refused to reveal her religion, stressing that she was brought up to go to the church, the mosque and the synagogue, continuing that since she was young, she was taught by her mother to answer the question: What is your religion? Answer: “I am Syrian.”
