In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated: “I will make a deal between Israel and Iran, just like I did with India and Pakistan,” referring to his past efforts to de-escalate military tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

He added: “We will achieve peace between Israel and Iran soon,” without providing further details on the parties involved in the negotiations or the nature of the proposals under discussion.

Trump emphasized that mediation efforts are ongoing, noting that he plays a significant role “without needing to take credit,” as he put it. He concluded his message by saying: “We will bring greatness back to the Middle East.”
