World Health Organization: First “Emergency Plane” Arrives in Damascus

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced the arrival of the first “emergency plane” at Damascus International Airport, carrying over 30 tons of essential medical supplies to support the healthcare system in Syria.

In the same context, a Qatari aid plane also arrived at the airport as part of the Qatari air bridge to support Syria, aimed at providing urgent humanitarian assistance.
