Israeli news platforms reported that Al-Qassam Brigades launched a major attack in southern Gaza, with massive explosions heard throughout the area. According to Yedioth Ahronoth, loud explosions were heard across the entire Gaza Strip.

Hadashot LeTzinzura reported that several Israeli soldiers were evacuated from Gaza, including some in critical condition. Other sources mentioned that helicopters transported the injured soldiers to Israeli hospitals, including Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

Meanwhile, the sounds of intense explosions continued in Gaza Envelope, believed to be the result of military operations by the Israeli army.
