Another technical glitch in Facebook related to friend requests

The company, which owns the social networking giant Facebook, acknowledged that a technical glitch had occurred in its servers during the past few hours.
Users reported a glitch that caused certain accounts to send random friend requests to other accounts without the owners’ consent.
And the “Fox News” network quoted the Meta company as having fixed the malfunction that affected a new update on the Facebook application that led to sending friend requests incorrectly and for a short period.
He added, “We have stopped this from happening and canceled the friend requests that were sent as a result of this error,” indicating the company’s apology for any inconvenience that may have occurred.
