Brad Pitt Hints at Stepping Back from Working with George Clooney After Wolfs – What’s the Story?

In a remark blending humor and candor, acclaimed actor Brad Pitt hinted at a possible pause in his professional collaborations with long-time friend and fellow star George Clooney, following their most recent joint appearance in the 2024 film Wolfs.

Speaking in a recent interview, Pitt explained that the physical demands of working alongside Clooney had taken a toll on him.

“I swore I wouldn’t work with George Clooney again—for health reasons!” Pitt said. “Working with him involves exhausting adventures, and I’m not as fit as I used to be.”

Despite the comment, Pitt did not entirely rule out future collaborations. He hinted that Clooney is currently developing a new screenplay, which might be compelling enough to reconsider.

“If I change my mind, I know George is working on something new… it sounds amazing,” he added.

A Shared Cinematic Legacy

Brad Pitt and George Clooney share a longstanding cinematic partnership that began with the launch of the Ocean’s franchise. The duo starred together in Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Ocean’s Twelve (2004), and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007), in addition to the 2008 dark comedy Burn After Reading.

After a 16-year hiatus, the pair reunited in Wolfs, which was filmed in New York in 2023. The production was briefly impacted by the SAG-AFTRA strikes before it resumed and premiered in 2024.
