Cairo Denies Allegations of Military Support to Israel

The Egyptian State Information Service (SIS) has officially denied the validity of claims circulating about Egypt providing military aid to Israel. In a statement, the SIS clarified that reports shared by some news outlets and social media platforms are baseless.
The statement reaffirmed Egypt’s consistent position since the escalation in Gaza, highlighting its humanitarian aid, medical support, and diplomatic efforts to halt military operations. It also emphasized Egypt’s rejection of any attempts to resolve the Palestinian issue through displacement, noting that Egyptian assistance to Palestinians has exceeded 75% of the total aid provided.
These remarks follow reports alleging that military transport planes had crossed Egyptian airspace into Israel. However, it was later confirmed that the aircraft in question belonged to the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) stationed in Sinai, which routinely conducts patrols between Egypt and Israel.
