English club Chelsea won the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa Conference League after defeating Spanish side Real Betis 4-1 in the final held today, Wednesday, at the Tarczyński Arena Wrocław in Poland.

Chelsea overturned a 1-0 first-half deficit to claim a comprehensive victory and secure the Europa Conference League title for the first time in their history.

During the first half, the Andalusian club showed defensive discipline and quick attacking transitions led by midfielder Isco, who assisted Moroccan player Abdul Samad Al-Zalzouli’s goal in the ninth minute, which was the only goal of the half.

In the second half, Betis retreated under Chelsea’s pressure. The English club equalized in the 65th minute through Argentine Enzo Fernández. Nicolas Jackson scored Chelsea’s second goal in the 70th minute, followed by substitute Jadon Sancho’s third goal in the 82nd minute. Moisés Caicedo sealed the win and the match with a fourth goal in stoppage time (90+1 minutes).

With this title, Chelsea adds another European trophy to its collection, becoming the only European club to have won all four major continental competitions: the Champions League, the Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, and now the Europa Conference League.
