For the First Time, Armed Clashes with Israeli Soldiers in Southern Syria
Social media platforms have reported armed clashes that took place late last Monday night between local groups in the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra and advancing Israeli forces in the region. Clashes in Quneitra and Daraa Amid Israeli Aircraft Hovering
According to local sources, the clashes erupted near the Abu Diab Brigade in the vicinity of the village of Al-Nasiriya in the countryside of Quneitra, where intense gunfire was exchanged, coinciding with intensive hovering of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft.
In the Tel al-Mal area in northern Daraa countryside, a direct confrontation took place between local residents and Israeli forces after they entered the town, forcing the Israeli soldiers to withdraw.
