Trump: Everyone Ready for an Achievement in Gaza… Arab Roles Expected in Implementation

U.S. President Donald Trump announced a “real opportunity to achieve an accomplishment in the Middle East,” noting that everyone is prepared for an exceptional event. His remarks, shared on the Truth Social platform, came amid reports of a new U.S. plan to end the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
Trump – Netanyahu: Upcoming Meeting
Trump is scheduled to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, where details of a U.S. plan comprising 21 points to halt the war in Gaza are expected to be presented. According to Israeli media citing American sources, Trump will press Netanyahu to advance the political process, while the Israeli government is expected to seek amendments to some provisions described as “concessions.”

Key Elements of the Plan
The plan, presented recently by Trump and White House envoy Steve Witkoff to Arab and Muslim leaders, includes the release of all hostages, a permanent ceasefire, a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, and a new governing structure excluding Hamas. It also proposes the creation of an Arab and Islamic security force, Arab funding for reconstruction, and partial involvement of the Palestinian Authority.

Arab Positions on the “Day After” Plan
According to sources, Arab and Muslim leaders conditioned their support for the plan on Israel refraining from annexing or establishing settlements in Gaza or the West Bank, respecting the status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and increasing humanitarian aid to Gaza immediately. The same sources noted that Trump assured leaders he would not allow Israel to annex parts of the West Bank. Arab leaders expressed support for the U.S. principles and pledged to participate in the proposed “Day After” framework.
