Iran Launches Largest Missile Barrage in 48 Hours, Sirens Sound Across Tel Aviv
In a major escalation, Israel’s Home Front Command reported air raid sirens sounding across several towns in northern Israel, particularly in the Galilee region, warning of a possible drone infiltration.
The Command also confirmed the launch of missiles from Iran toward central Israel, urging civilians to seek shelter immediately. The Israeli army stated that air defense systems were preparing to intercept the incoming threats.
According to Israel Army Radio, Iran fired its largest missile barrage in 48 hours, estimated at 20 to 30 missiles. Explosions were heard in Greater Tel Aviv, and Channel 12 reported preliminary information on direct hits and casualties.
The Israeli emergency services confirmed receiving multiple distress calls from locations where missiles reportedly struck, underlining the seriousness of the current offensive.
